Youth Combo 1

The Combo 1 is our top combo. It consists of players who have reached a level of competency in reading music and playing ability. The average age of this combo is 15. The Youth Combo 1 plays music from almost any genre. Rock, pop, musical theater, blues, and country all make an appearance in the Youth Combo. The choice of songs that the Youth Combo 1 plays is driven by members of the group, so everybody has a say in what songs to play.

Rehearsals are held twice a month.

Rehearsals last between 1 and 1.5 hrs.

Performances are seasonal, as well as, scheduled venues outside of the Houston Musical Academy facility.
